Steve Francis of late 80s DC/NoVA outfit Indian Summer leads a lean mean trio (Chico Rodriguez – drums/vocals, Brian Kiviat – bass) that epitomizes hardcore’s get out and do it spirit. This pair of tunes has a scrappy, no-frills approach that should endear itself to back to basics punks. Francis takes lead vocals on “Lineup” and trades lyrics with Rodriguez on “D Hall.”  The nova punk vet blends the artful riffs of DC legends like the Faith, Chicago’s Effigies with a west coast skate rock attitude. These recordings capture the band live in 2017 and Government Issue’s Tom Lyle handles the mix.

Issued on Fun With Tape records – Limited to 100 copies. Pressed on “classic black” vinyl. Includes two-sided 7”x7” insert. Mixed by Tom Lyle in 2021
